T.A.W.G. Flagship workout was great!


Thanks to Tom, Toni, Rick, Sabrina, and Alex for making the flagship workout a great time!

Training objectives/outcomes:

  • Highlight “push/pull’ movements (Wedge, Double blades, strikes, 4 count block check counter, De Cadena, Single Hand Shirt grab defense)
  • Learn to consciously ‘throw the switch’ between ‘technical mind’ (Getting it right) and ‘tactical mind’ (Getting it done)
  • BREATH!
  • On a lighter note, a new figure of speech was born: “Like a medicine ball in the face.”

I was focusing on teaching so didn’t get any pics of the class this time, but we did get some shots of a ‘burpee/focus mitt’ conditioning drill during the wrap up.
